An update?

Okay so wow, finally posting!

Let's see...since the last time I updated:

I found a new full time job which sounded awesome until I found out it was selling vacuums on commission door to door. So not my thing. I stuck it out for a week because I don't like to give up easily but realized that if a job is on the verge of giving me panic attacks than I should get out.

I auditioned for Six Flags Fright Fest again, the last time I did it was in 2002. Thought my audition was 'eh' even though they were impressed by THE REALLY AWESOME THINGS that I can do to my voice when I'm screaming. Said they'd call me in for call backs a week later if I got in. Didn't hear a thing so I figured they didn't need me.

So I planned to go to a wedding that I wouldn't have been able to make if I had been in Fright Fest! It's in San Diego and The Boy's best friend is getting married. He's in HER wedding party (like that movie!) I'm busing down there (12 HOURS!!) because it's cheaper than flying but I don't care because I LOVE going to weddings :D So my adventure starts early Friday morning!

Ahaha, so here's where it gets crazy (as though it hasn't already!) the day AFTER I book my bus tickets, I check my work schedule and GUESS WHO IS IN FRIGHT FEST AFTER ALL??? Thing is, NO ONE called to tell me I was in it, which apparently happened to some other people too. So I'm torn between YAY! they liked me after all and OH CRAP I HAVE NON REFUNDABLE TICKETS ON THE DAYS I'M SCHEDULED. Man, I may dislike working at a theme park some days but when they rush to work out my schedule with me, how can I hate them?

So now I'm going to San Diego AND getting to be in Fright Fest. Score.

Only thing left to do is find a second job because I figure that having two minimum wage jobs is like having ONE that pays $16 an hour!

I AM HOME *kisses the ground*

After a 12 hour drive made only slightly less annoying by switching between three drivers X.X and I now have a distinct dislike for yahoo maps, really slow trucks, and that one ass hole driver in Willits who COULDN'T WAIT TWO GODDAMN SECONDS AND HAD TO LAY ON HIS HORN *headdesk*

Other than that...

Seattle was fun and amazing!

We met lots of fun people and partied a lot!

I would LOVE to go to U of W for grad school. The CAMPUS omg and I think I am in love with their library.

Crater Lake was spectacular...the deepest and prettiest blue that I have ever seen in nature.

Oregon Caves were cold...but not as cold as when we woke up this morning at 6am to pack up the car and start back home *shiver*

Enough for now, I still smell vaguely of campfire smoke and need to unpack *topples over*

So, we leave Monday morning, we're going to stock up on food today, I'm packing now, mostly because I won't have much time this weekend considering I'll be out of town for the last weekend of the show, and I still haven't heard back from the guy running the field school. Which, by the way, I'm leaving for the day after we get back from the roadtrip, lol.

BUSY.

Anyway, I can't wait to see Seattle, camping on the way up and the way back, AND stopping at Crater Lake because, omg, I've always wanted to see it and now I finally get to!

Spent much of last night marking up maps with different colored highlighters and printing out directions and things!

I have my PARTY CAR playlist on my iPod all set up and I just need to update it!

It was going to be three girls and one guy going, but now it's going to be a girl's only trip which is going to be awesome too.

Can't wait to hit the bars, and all that :D

Most likely found someone to take my room for two weeks while I'm gone to help pay for rent.

I changed the dates I'm going to Aug. 3-18 instead the entire month of August because, wow, EXPENSIVE. Thankfully didn't have to pay anything to change my flight!

I have to work on my resume at some point after I get back because I have two potential places that I'm looking at and I need to send an email, that reminded me O.o

But yay! for excavation experience, I really need it, so I get to add that and my conference from April.

I'll work at Kohl's until I find something better or, who knows, I might stay just on the weekends because I'm saving up for my trip to Europe next summer. Also going to try working at Six Flags fright fest again cause that was kickass the last time I did it :D

But yeah, ROADTRIP!!!!1
