Here I am, 11:30 at night, hyped up on so much caffeine from two cups of coffee and a large soda. Just saw Serenity. I have to get my squee out of the way because OMGTHATMOVIEWASAWESOME!!!

And. I will be wearing black for the next few months, or, you know, until I run out of black clothes.

He didn't have to die, he really didn't. Everybody else got to live. Well, except Book and that universe guy. But he was one of my favorite characters! I love him. He's gone! I was in denial when it happened and then, at the end, when it was final, I damn near broke down in the theater. Poor Zoe. But she is strong and I am not.

Au revoir, my good friend, I will never look at flowered shirts or plastic dinosaurs the same way again.

I think I need therapy.

ETA. My new OTP is Wash/Zoe. I don't care about Simon/Kaylee anymore. It should also be known that I never jump ship for no reason. I may have been a little hasty about my first choice. 'Course, I could be being hasty right now...

I want to make a collage for Wash now. And fill up the rest of my icon space with him.


In other news...

The movie was BRILLIANT! I'm going to see it again, definitely. Owning it and everything!

Yeah, Book's death was a little random, too, but I never really cared that much about him. I'm quite annoyed, however, that Joss still refused to tell us what Book's secret was. I bet it was interesting, too. A pox on whoever cancelled the show!

So why do you have to have only one OTP? It's not like there's a conflict of interest in those two pairings.

I'm very curious about Book's backstory, too. I've heard ideas that maybe he used to be an operative like the guy in the movie, that's why the alliance was quick to help him when he was wounded. The fans need to know!

I guess I could have two OTPs...especially when it's hard to chose one over the other.
