You Know You're Addicted to Harry Potter When...

You make a wand and try to use it. Erm...check? *flees* You call your least favorite teacher Snape. You call your favorite teacher Dumbledore. You wear robes to school or work. You make "floo powder", get in the fire, and try to go to your friends' house. You have read all the books more than four times. Check! And proud of it! You've been bookstore at midnight to get the latest Harry Potter book before all your friends. Will be a 'check' this coming July ;D ... And then you stayed up all night reading it. Ditto above You've worn a Harry Potter costume in public. Does a Hogwarts scarf count? You have a crush on one of the Harry Potter characters. Erm...check? *Hides* You've gotten at least one of your friends addicted to Harry Potter. Honestly, I can't remember if I did or not... You actually caught the "Wand Order" mistake before you heard/read about it. Check. Sort of. I knew something felt a bit off, but it took me a while to realize what it was, then, "D'oh!" You are upset at the New York Times for creating a seperate childrens best seller list because of the Harry Potter books. Using clues in the book, you have attempted to find the exact geographical location of Hogwarts. You have constructed a timeline of events in the Harry Potter books. Check. You have attempted to figure out the exact ages of all the Weasley children? Check! As of book five: Ginny - 14, Ron - 15, F&G - 17, Percy - 19, Charlie - 22, Bill - 24 You have spent time contemplating which main characters will die by the time the series is over. Check! You've been to see all the Harry Potter movies on opening night. (Bonus points for standing in line in costume!) Check! Does a Gryffindor scarf count? You've read Harry Potter fanfic. Check! You've written Harry Potter fanfic. Check! You run a Harry Potter fansite. You visit The Leaky Cauldron Mugglenet daily. Check! What is it with The Leaky Cauldron? Mugglenet is much more organized! You've met other Harry Potter fans from online in real life. You've participated in a Harry Potter RPG. Check! You've dreamed about Harry Potter. Check! Many times. You have a Harry Potter poster on your wall. Check! It's one of Rupert Grint from Cos. It's movie theatre sized! Each Halloween, there's no question what you'll dress up as...! You've spent time doing a timeline to see if you would have been old enough to date a certain character when you were in high school. Not date, no, more of when I would have gone to Hogwarts You've vacationed to London, simply to search for the Leaky Cauldron. No, but I want to visit platform 9 3/4 sometime! You own a black lab named Sirius Black. I wish...I'd probably call him snuffles, though. You've knitted a Weasley sweater or Harry Potter scarf. Will be a check if I ever get that scarf finished! You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends who are addicted to Harry Potter. Check and check.

I love Harry Potter just as much as the next fan! He's like my idol!I have all of the books and I've seen all of the movies so far!At least now, after readind your post,I don't feel like a total geek liking Harry Potter!Keep up with the site,I love reading the things you post on here!It's like the first site I go to an the computer when I login!I'm looking forward to what you're gonna post next!If there is any info about the new movie,let us know,PLEASE!!!! Ah, thank you so much for the kind words! :D It's always fun meeting fellow Harry Potter geeks, it's like our own little world where only we know what in Merlin's name we're talking about.

I always try to keep up with recent Harry Potter news. Speaking of, have you seen the GoF trailer and teaser poster? I will probably post the links later.
