Book sale at the library today! Paperbacks were 50 cents!

The Scifi section was overrun by Star Trek novels but I did manage to find Shadows, Gods, and Demons which has short stories by Neil Gaiman and Anne McCaffrey in it!

Also got lucky and found #5, 6, 7, of the Hornblower series by C. S. Forester: Beat to Quarters, Ship of the Line, and Flying Colors I loves me some naval fiction :3

Also picked up:
The Tombs Atuan - Ursula K. LeGuin
Doctor Who and the Time Warrior - Terrance Dicks
Holes - Louis Sachar
Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden

On a book-related note: I want to get into reading Terry Prachett but don't know where to start, there are so many! Plz send help!

Also, I R TEH SLOW and only just now read Ender's Game. HOW HAVE I NOT READ THIS SOONER!?

Oh my word, isn't Ender wonderful?

re: Pratchett, it doesn't matter how you start. They're all self contained. I suggest Small Gods because I love the story, but I've never disliked a Pratchett book. Also the non-discworld triology he did awhile back was really good. Called something like the Briomeliad trilogy or something. Anyway. Just pick one up and read!

I would reccomend starting at book 3 - Equal Rites i think. Books 1 & 2 are very different from the rest of the series, and they get better and better as he continues :)

yay Holes - I like that book :) well, yay for booksales in general :)
