Summary: A short look at what Harry says in OotP when he tells Ron and Hermione that it was luck that saved him for the past four years.

Never let it be said that Harry Potter is a wimp.

He was no stranger to the forbidden forest. He himself thought that if he was forced to choose between living with the Dursley’s for another summer or baby-sit Hagrid’s half-brother, Grawp, he would cheerfully choose the latter.

He stood up to the evilest dark lord in over a century and fought him as though they were equals.

But most of all was how it seemed he could stare impending and certain death in the eye with an unflinching resolve that would cause even the bravest of people to look at him with admiration.

Some say Harry Potter is reckless.

Or maybe it was the fact that he seemed to get himself into impossible situations and then always escape in the nick of time.

This is why he is The-Boy-Who-Lived, people thought. The-Boy-Who-Lived-Without-Fear. The-Boy-Who-Lived-to-Destroy-Evil. They all thought he was a hero, brave enough to make even Godric Gryffindor himself proud.

And it was this that caused Harry the most anguish. Only he himself knew that he was, most of all, lucky in many ways. Brave, yes, reckless, yes, but he knew he wouldn’t have survived this long if he wasn’t lucky as well.

Hope you enjoyed it! (That is if anyone does read my LJ :P !)
