I love reading fantasy!

I haven't updated in two days because I've been reading The Tower of Ravens.

I finished it up yesterday and really enjoyed it. The author, Kate Forsyth, has also written a six book series, The Witches of Eileanan, which I've probably mentioned before. It's my second favorite book series, ♥s to you if you can guess what my first favorite it, it's not that diffucult. ;D

Anyway, The Tower of Ravens takes place in the same world only it's told through a different character and takes place some twenty-five years after the end of the first series.

The only thing is, the books are published in Australia and I have to wait a year for them to be published here. The Shinning City is the second book of the trilogy that came out last week but I have to wait a year for it because I don't want to buy it overseas. It really sucks.

Anyway, hogwarts_lives is finally starting to get back up and running, I think. We have to catch the new characters up on everything that's happened since it was first opened. I'm looking forward to it!

Ten day vacation! Wee!

I'm going on vacation in two weeks! ::Dances like crazy::

We are flying out to visit my Uncle in Alabama and then we'll go north through Nashville TN and see the sights. Then we go through Virginia with a side trip to see the Mississippi River. I finally get to see the Mississippi, I'm so excited!

Now I feel the need to read some Mark Twain...

Anyway, then we spend 4th of July in Illinois with my boatload of uncles, aunts, cousins, and second cousins.

The we fly back to California on the fifth!

Gah! I'm sooo looking forward to this!
