HP | Thoughts about the pensieve

I need to share this editorial from mugglenet. It definitely made me rethink the "Snape's Worst Memory" chapter in Order of the Phoenix. Mainly, when Harry is hanging out with the memories of the marauders, it's still Snape's memory, so how could Snape have heard the marauder's coversation? To quote: "I think he filled in the blanks after putting two and two together". In other words, Snape's own memory is biased because of his dislike for the marauders.

Well, the editorial explains it better than I can. Go read it.

The Pensieve: "Snape's Worst Memory" Revisited

All I have to say: Word.

Wow! Very interesting. I had to go and re-read the pensieve scenes because of that. Hmm...

Oh, I wish I can re-read the whole of the 5 HPs now. But real life has to happen. *sigh*

Anyway, thanks for sharing that. =)

No problem! I love sharing fandom-y things so I have someone to squee and contemplate with, usually in that order, too ;D

And, yeah, I planned on reading all five too but it didn't quite happen.
