New Stargate canon makes me happy!
So.
I went out between classes to buy it and then could BARELY sit through the rest of my classes knowing it was in my car just WAITING for me to get out of class for the day.
Well....
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
OMG THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW BAD ASS TEAL'C IS.
He's got some GREAT scenes:
+The heart-to-heart with Tomin
+The being not!dead after getting shot I was so scared that he was DEAD
+The courageous trek to the Ori headquarters while seriously injured
+The rescue of Daniel and the others
+Oh man, I hope I'm not forgetting anything! Obviously this means I must watch it again and again and again!
Sam was SO CUTE in the last scene with Cam, though I HATED the shippy-ness of it. *Still a die-hard Sam/Jack Shipper to the end*
Can I have Adria's walking-around-as-fire ability, like, now? Please?
Plus, how bad ass was that robo!replicator? That's some seriously powerful shit right there.
The General was pretty awesome too.
Cam still annoys me.
I love redeemed!Tomin, awwww.
We get to see young Merlin! Who just had the idea to build the stargate system! How cool is that?
Bonus for an ancient finally deciding to help, too. Morgan Le Fey gets to have her bad ass moment now!
That Marek guy was all over the place, half-fanboy half-CIA badguy. Weird. Glad he burned "in the fires of damnation" aka Really Big Explosion™ lol I <3 C4 to NO END
Bad ass-ery all around, I must say.
Now to wait until Stargate Continuum to come out. I believe the preview said Summer 2008 which, whoa, I thought October? Not that I'm complaining.
