OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!! ...and Stargate...
ACK OMG I'M HYPERVENTILATING THIS DESERVES ITS OWN POST AND I SWEAR I WILL GO TO SLEEP SOMETIME TONIGHT THIS MORNING BUT ... JUST .. OMG!!!!!
Okay *deep breaths* here we go.
I had read (in SciFi magazine of course!) about a really fascinating Stargate episode called "Ripple Effect". I can't type it out so here's the summary from GateWorld:
Multiple SG-1s show up at Stargate Command, leading the "real" team to conclude that they have each been inadvertantly displaced from different parallel realities.
Sounded absolutly fascinating to me so I go tralala-ing over to GateWorld 'cause I know they have spoilers and OMG do I ever want to be spoiled for this episode.
About the time I read about this episode, I half-heartedly wondered if maybe, just maybe, Janet Fraiser would be in it.
Well, I still all just rumor of course but...
I found these little tidbits that made me want to jump around my room and make lots of noise, nevermind that the rest of my familly is sleeping.
"... if all goes as planned, may see the return of a much-loved, sorely-missed character."
(The site bolded those words, very important)
It adds up so far: Janet is definitely very much missed at the SGC.
And then:
The character alluded to is Dr. Janet Fraiser, according to a report at SG1-Spoilergate, and will appear in flashbacks. The character was killed in Season Seven's "Heroes, Part 2."
So here I am squeeing as silently as possible and hoping so much that this is actually true becuase if it's not I'm going to be extremely let down. Extremely.
And then this follows:
"I read a report that the mystery character I’ve been referring to with regard to this episode will only be appearing in flashbacks. Let me be clear. There are NO flashbacks in 'Ripple Effect.'"
So, what I'm getting is that if it is Janet Fraiser, then she will be from another reality in which she didn't die and OMG ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS THAT I ROLE-PLAY HER AND THIS IS SO MUCH AWESOMENESS BECAUSE I MISS HAVING A CHARACTER THAT HAS NEW CANON AND SHE CAN HAVE A NEW PLOTLINE AND OMG I SHOULD NOT BE ABUSING THE CAPSLOCK OF DOOM THIS MUCH!!!
*ahem* Yes. It's terribly exciting news.
ETA: GO HERE GO HERE!!! There's news instead of just rumors!
I really really can't wait for this episode to air. Really REALLY can't wait. *checks air date* January 20th. I can make it, I'm sure I can...
