A.I. observations

Because I'm taking a break from some reading...

FYI, I have high standards for female singers, which is probably why a lot of my favorite singers are guys!

Paris Bennett

Meh.

Lisa Tucker

Okay, but her voice is a little whiny.

Melissa McGhee

Too breathless sounding. Trying too hard. I agree with Simon.

Kinnik Sky

Ouch. She really shouldn't belt, that hurt my head.

Katharine McPhee

Nah. I don't like her. Sounds like she kind of cheated on those high notes too. She'll probably go far, though.

Ayla Brown

Oooh, no. Just no. She butchered that song. I don't like her. Just stop plzkthanks.

Mandisa

Great stage presence from the start! I like her, this is someone who can sing. And she can belt without making my skin crawl, so that's a plus! Great talent, tough act to follow. I agree with Simon.

Kellie Pickler

She's pretty good. I liked her song choice, too. And is it just me or does she seem a few fries short of a happy meal? "What's a minx?"

In conclusion:

I'd vote for Mandisa. Second choice: Kellie

Also, DUDE. That Miss Piggy comercial was SUCH a spoof. Only Miss Piggy could get away with that and not have anyone hate her!
