Day the third
Just a short one this time...with a picture!
Tourist’s log day the third, Monday
Went to Cathedral Caverns earlier today and it was amazing! The entire cavern was made up of ginormous rooms. I’ll have to show you some pictures, because the place was so great!
The opening to the cave is 45 feet high and 135 feet wide. I forgot the exact measurements, but it’s something around those. Anyway, the entrance is just huge and it seems like the cave goes on forever! Definitely something to see in person if you ever get the chance. It was nice and cool inside and everything and we had a really funny tour guide who had an Appalachian accent. I think that’s what it’s called, but it was a really heavy accent at any rate.
I think we’re going into Chattanooga, TN tomorrow to go to Lookout Mountain. Not sure, though.
I think I’m getting used to the heat a little bit, though, it doesn’t seem as bad as before. The humidity is the worst; it’s like being inside a stuffy car with no way to roll the windows down.
I think the next one is longer...
BTW, I have space for 50 icons now! I treated myself (ie. I am WEAK when it comes to spending money), so I have LOTS of new pretties, yay! The one I'm using for this entry is my new default icon, it's gorgeous!
